Sunday afternoons at Barnaby’s Lounge are built for proper jazz, slow lunches and musicians who know how to hold a room without shouting for attention. 🎹🍷 This week we welcome the John Donaldson Jazz Collective, led by acclaimed British pianist and composer John Donaldson, whose expressive and deeply melodic playing has earned him a reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive contemporary jazz musicians. Having worked alongside names including Alan Barnes, Don Weller, Norma Winstone and Art Farmer, Donaldson brings decades of musical storytelling, warmth and improvisational brilliance to the Barnaby’s stage.
