Legendary guitarist Jim Mullen returns to Hastings for a special 80th-year celebration performance. Widely regarded as one of the greatest UK jazz guitarists of the last 50 years, Jim’s unmistakable thumb-picking style and soulful, swinging sound have made him a defining figure in British jazz.

A multi-award-winning artist (British Jazz Awards – Best Guitarist), Jim first came to prominence with the influential jazz-funk band Morrissey-Mullen, before performing with Georgie Fame, Average White Band, Claire Martin, Jimmy Smith, Mose Allison, Brian Auger, and many more. His organ trio is one of his most loved settings — warm, grooving, and full of classic soul-jazz energy.

Expect a night of world-class guitar playing from a true UK jazz icon, celebrating a remarkable musical milestone.
