London-born trumpeter Poppy Daniels has become one of the most exciting and in-demand musicians on the UK jazz scene. Known for her exceptional tone and dynamic versatility, she has performed and recorded with Blue Lab Beats, Daniel Casimir, Celeste, Jordan Rakei, Arlo Parks, Hak Baker and many more, appearing at major venues and festivals including Love Supreme. 2025 marks a new chapter as Poppy steps forward as an artist in her own right with the release of her debut EP ‘Keep on Going’ on Jazz Re:Freshed. Blending London jazz with Latin, hip-hop and soulful contemporary influences, the EP is a deeply personal exploration of resilience and renewal, written in real time during a period of significant life change. Her band — Kian Cardenas (guitar), Eddie Lee (keys), Alley Lloyd (bass) and her core Jazz Re:Freshed rhythm section on drums— brings rich colour, groove and emotional depth to her music.
