On Tuesday 6 May at 7pm we'll be hosting our bi-weekly Open Mic ! Anyone of any skill level is welcome, you don't need to bring anything (but can if you want to), we will supply a PA, guitar and piano. “Sprung” Art Show Party – Meet the Artists

Curated by @louisewhithamartist Throughout May and June, we are delighted to be exhibiting art in a wonderful exhibition showcasing the surprising and exceptional work of 22 talented artists, each responding to the word "sprung" in uniquely creative ways. We hope you can make the opening celebration on Friday, 9 May at the award-winning Jazz club and bar Barnabys Lounge. The gathering is from 6:00 PM to 7:30 pm, but the evening will continue afterwards with live jazz from the Southern Lights Jazz Sextet at 8.30pm. During this special viewing, you can engage with the artists in person and virtually through specially made projected videos that delve into the varied artistic practices and the thinking behind the pieces on show. This evening promises to be a unique and charming occasion, and your participation makes it all the more special Thank you in advance for helping to spread the word

Jonas & Jazz Friends – In the Name of the Blues 1.30pm

A new bluesy project with bassist Terry Pack and drummer James Chapman. James Chapman is an active professional drummer from the UK working as both a studio and live session musician, and in 2015, became the drummer for the Metal band "Collapse" Terry Pack is a bassist and composer who has recorded with musicians as varied as Bonnie Tyler, Graham Bonnet, Brian May, Steve Hackett, Jan Akkerman, Ray Fenwick, Cozy Powell, Clem Cattini, Zak Starkey, Don Airey, Samantha Fox, Joss Stone, Liane Carroll, Claire Martin, Gary Burton and Bobby Wellins. Jonas Larsson’s composed music for stage plays and television, worked as a session musician, produced visual art and published books & more. Table Booking heavily recommended. £5pp music charge. 100% goes to the musicians

Monthly Jazz Jam 8.00pm

Our house band is now piano, bass, drums and saxophone. Please note this is a free event, giving a chance for musicians and singers of all abilities to work on their jazz.  A Real book with chord changes will be available if you don't have one.
