    Lynda Murray Jazz Trio - with Adrian York (pno) and Paul Whitten (db) Lynda Murray - Lynda Murray Band leader, saxophonist/composer has been living in Hastings since 1986. Previously she had been living in London and in 1984 joined the first ever London Community Music project set up by John Stevens (drummer) and John Cummings (Serious). Initially it was called Search and Reflect. She did sit next to a very young and a very talented Courntey Pine the year before his career propelled him to become an international star. Last October Lynda's piano trio played 2 recitals at St James's Church Piccadilly London. They were part of the new Saturday Live programme. Lynda has also been involved in M&G Investments 'Reframing Retirement'. A campaign to change the conversation around retirement. Since the late 80's Lynda has played in many Hastings music venues. One of the most memorable gigs was in 2005 was when her quartet with Paul Whitten (db), Luke Rattenbury (gtr) and the late Dave Trigwell (drms) played the opening set for Courtney Pine at the De La Warr Pavilion.     Royal Academy of music graduate, Dan Foster formed Kairos Ensemble in 2001. The ensemble have produced five albums to date: The River (2002), Psalms Live (2004), Psalms (2006), Passion Suite (2010) and Rejoicing Blues (2013). The group has toured extensively in the UK and France and been featured on both BBC Radio 3 and 4. Dan has had the privilege of playing with some wonderful musicians in the worlds of both jazz and pop.     Robert Reid – Jazz Piano Trio Robert Reid has worked in London and the South East for many years, often with leading jazz musicians starting with John Etheridge in the 1980s, including  a 7 year residency at the Grapevine in Rye and  the Rye Jazz Festivals since 2017. Paul Beeching on double bass has been an in-demand  sideman in the South East for years working with many local jazz stars and appearing in support bands for Gregory Porter, Ronnie Scott and Alexander O’Neal. Tony MacDonnell – Drums – the first drummer to graduate from the renowned Jazz & Light Music Course at Leeds College of Music and over a subsequent 60+ year career has played TV & Radio, Recording Sessions, Musical Theatre, Function Bands, Club Tours, Summer Season, Cabaret and even Grand Opera as well as Jazz – Big Band, Swing & Be Bop, Traditional, Dixieland & Period Bands.     Nick Loe from Lewes has collaborated with old partner in funk Andy Nunn and his old bandmate drummer Liam MacManus to create their debut album due out very soon. Expect a mixture of dreamy tunes, chilled grooves & lo-fi vibes with a dash of funk on the side. The music has roots in the folk singer/songwriter genre with Jeff Buckley, Portishead & Bill Withers inspiration. It’s a pedigree band with some of the band having played for Morcheeba, Emilíana Torrini and the Bluetones amongst others…
