    '8th Form' - Two musically passionate 16 year olds! Hayley Adjei, a multi-talented singer, songwriter, guitarist and ukuleleist and Hana Bolton, a drummer, singer and songwriter have formed a new band performing originals and much loved jazz, funk and indie rock covers ❤ come and support their musical journey!

  • The Velvet Rays – 8.30pm

    Louise Driscoll has recently re-launched her band The Velvet Rays, a dynamic 3 piece playing original melodic & sometimes haunting indie style pop. Louise is a singer songwriter with a distinct & soaring voice, Louise plays both Acuoustic & electric guitars with interesting effects that enhance her songs. The band also play a select few popular cover song interpretations. On Bass is Ben Sumner who has performed with Oli Spleen and the Smithmancers and The Holloway Jug Band and has performed in various punk & Americana bands across London. Paul Moon the drummer was most recently a member of local high energy folk band Fire in The Meadow and has played with Jason McNiff a local Folk/Americana & Country artist and Deep Ease an acoustic blues / pop trio. Prior to moving to Hastings he was playing & recording in London. The Velvet Rays are based in Hastings.

    SunSetters are the Trio of Chrysta, Tony and Barney. They perform a playlist of familiar favourites that might be titled “Sunday Sundowners”. Easy listening to round off your weekend

    Every Monday Markus Thonett will be offering regular sessions for artists and art students to discuss any aspect of art. That includes but is not limited to any difficulties, challenges, ideas, questions and fantasies related to making art. No agenda other than whatever you would like to talk about.     At 7.00pm we’ll be hosting our bi-weekly Open Mic. Anyone of any skill level is welcome, you don’t need to bring anything (but can if you want to), we will supply a PA, guitar and piano. This is a light-hearted and inclusive space, so no pressure and have fun! Please note next open mic date: Tues 3rd of February  

  • Reading Between The Vines Book Club 6.00pm

    Wine, books, a lovely social club. Contact on Facebook or just turn up. The organiser Stella Cutler is super welcoming. Our next read to take us into the New Year will be a self chosen book. You can choose any genre, author, fact or fiction etc BUT it must have one of the following words in the title - RED, GREEN, GOLD, SILVER or CHRISTMAS. It's great fun to mix things up a bit, especially in dreary January, plus getting together to discuss each other's chosen books, there's always something to talk about and often recommendations for your growing TBR pile!I do have a suggested list of book titles that I will pop in the comments later if you need a bit of inspiration. We meet again on Wednesday 18th February 2026 from 6pm!
