    CHILL-OUT GUITAR VIBES WITH DAVID CANE-HARDY David Cane-Hardy took up the guitar after the passing of singer/songwriter John Martyn and his influence is very evident in his guitar playing using echo, reverb and delay techniques. David recently worked with the renowned music producer Chris Coco and released the album ‘New Beginnings’ last October and is available on Bandcamp, Amazon Music, Spotify and Apple Music. David’s unique ambient style guitar style has received rave reviews and comments on BanBan Ton Ton blog plus Radio support from Riley & Co on BBC6Music, Ruf Dug on Soup To Nuts NTS and Alex Rudder on KEXP. David’s use of sustained chords, harmonics and melodic pulses creates an ever changing soundscape which is both captivating and trance like for the listener. This event is a must for any music and guitar enthusiasts so please save the date!

    Klump! (sic) "We do some original tunes plus some unusual covers in a reggae style; we also play other types of music. Rob has been writing and playing for years and used to perform at festivals. Alistair’s jazz career is vast with The Jazz Organisation, Tony Evans Big Band, Pete White, Pete Burden, you name it. You probably know about my history with The 101ers (Joe Strummer), The Passions (I’m in love with a German film star), The Boogie Brothers (Blues Bros tribute) and many more."

    Swedish musician/composer Bjorn Dahlberg is a founding member of several bands : the swing band ‘My Friend Lester Quartet’ ; ‘Nybakat!’, a Swedish/Israeli modern jazz quartet he’s toured Sweden, UK and Israel and recorded 2 albums with. He was also a founding member of world music group Lele Lele, recorded the first album with them and toured Sweden and Bulgaria. Matt Jackson - an amazing Local Bluesy Jazz Guitarist

  • Martin Blackman Singer-Guitarist 4.30pm

    Martin Blackman is a Hastings born singer songwriter and quitar/harmonica player. In the late 80s he and his brother Dave were founding members of successful local band SoulXpress. In the early 90s Martin And Dave formed The Blackman Brothers Band, who played venues and functions around the South East and became one of the headline acts at the legendary Black Horse Festival. After the untimely death of Dave, Martin carried on as The Martin Blackman Band and now plays gigs as the band/trio/duo/solo, or as Rule Of 3 with various guest players, including Steeleye Span bass/vocals Roger Carey and multi instrumentalist/vocals Johr Steel and percussionist/vocals Kate Stephenson.

    John Harriman is a critically acclaimed Jazz Pianist, Bandleader, Keyboardist and Composer. John performs in a wide range of duos, trios and line-ups with vocalists, sax players and musicians across jazz, latin, pop and rock genres and has toured and played at innumerable clubs and venues in the UK and abroad. He is renowned amongst other things for creating award winning Cuban Jazz Salsa Quintet Heads South.. “Impeccable musicianship” The Times “Fine jazz...excellent piano....well worth seeing” The Gig Guide “Dazzling solos” The Jazzmann “Superb” Latin Jazz USA. He is probably best known for touring throughout the UK, Europe, USA and Canada with multi award winning pianist Liane Carroll, to whom he is married.
