    Hyphae Collective warmly invite poets, musicians and singers to experiment and collaborate with our house band - let's see what magic we can weave together. Bring your instruments and your words; whether they be your own, someone else's or, even better, improvised! Our December edition will be a covers special - bring a poem you love by someone else. We are very excited to have special guest Sekinue joining on harp for this show only! The jam is on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm, at Barnaby's Jazz Bar in Hastings. It's free and unticketed (though tips are welcomed). The building is wheelchair accessible, but the toilets are not. This is a queer and trans friendly event - everyone is welcome.     Trinity Quartet Newly formed Trinity Jazz Quartet brings together four seasoned local musicians with a shared love of swing, interplay and timeless jazz storytelling. Expect beautifully shaped standards, fresh interpretations, and the occasional original, delivered with warmth, restraint and moments of fire. The quartet features Paul Moon - Drums, Bjorn Dalhberg- Sax , Andy Nunn - Piano, and Luke Hannington- Bass, with special guest Jack Beattie joining for the second set — adding an extra spark and surprise to an already rich musical conversation. This is jazz that listens as much as it speaks — elegant, spontaneous, and rooted in the tradition, yet very much alive in the moment.

  • Open Mic Hosted by Konarucchi – 7.00pm

    At 7.00pm we’ll be hosting our bi-weekly Open Mic. Anyone of any skill level is welcome, you don’t need to bring anything (but can if you want to), we will supply a PA, guitar and piano.
