A group of three musicians all very familiar to Hastings audiences but never together in this combination of a classic Jazz trio of Piano, Bass and Drums! They play jazz standards & some more rare pieces from the repertoire of artists like Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarett and more. Andy Nunn - Piano - has years of professional experience as a musician and composer including recording and writing with artists Jonathan Jeremiah, Goldheart Assembly, Polly Paulusma, Delilah, Kathryn Williams, Joel Edwards, Wrenne, Pete Molinari and Roland Gift and touring internationally with Bluetones, Mark Morriss, Emiliana Torrini and Morcheeba. Andy is also a musical director & writer for musical theatre and dance productions and a multi instrumentalist. As well as being a fine jazz pianist he is also an in-demand educator with experience as a private music tutor and as Head of Music in Ofsted outstanding Primary and Secondary schools in London. Solly is a 22 year-old independent self-taught singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He writes and performs his own music, is both a solo artist and performer, whilst also a member of five-piece funk band, ’Still Royal’.
