Neville Dickie : Boogie Woogie and All That Jazz – New Orleans to Harlem 4.30pm

Since his last appearance at the lounge, Neville Dickie will be presenting a completely new programme, as well as adding a new member to his team. Dean Morris will again be featured on drums and Neville is pleased to introduce and feature George Simmonds on Trombone and Vocals. If you are looking for an evening of Virtuosity, High Energy and Fun, this is a must-see show. Neville is known internationally as one of the best pianists in the world playing this toe tapping and joyful music from a period when all music was live, and the Piano was King. He has played professionally with all the leading named Jazz Bands since the 1960s but his big break came when he was spotted by BBC Radio 2 producer Doreen Green in the early 1970s. He could be heard on that station most days of the week and his popularity led to releasing a single which reached the British Pop Charts – a rare success for a jazz pianist. Rattlebag are a fabulous acapella harmony group, who celebrate their 20th birthday anniversary of keeping the old songs alive this year. They are well known from Jack in the Green and have a big local following from their regular singing nights and wassailing in the changing seasons. Robbie Robson Jazz Trio 1.30pm

Robbie studied jazz at both Leeds and Guildhall Schools of Music, where he won prizes for Outstanding Musicianship and Composition. He was a national finalist in the Young Jazz Musician of the Year 1999, and the runner up in the Perrier Young Jazz Musician 2000. He is active on the contemporary Jazz scene in London, playing regularly at Ronnie Scott’s, The 606, the Vortex jazz clubs with many different groups including the Matt Wates Quintet, Frank Griffiths Nonet, Hans Koller, Gareth Lockrane Septet, Alcyona Mick Quintet, The Calum Gourlay Big Band, the Million Dollar Big Band, and the London Jazz Orchestra. He has also worked with Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Lane, Phil Woods, Mike Gibbs, Evan Parker, Jamie Cullum, and the James Taylor Quartet. He has recently recorded albums with both Bill Frisell and Steve Swallow. Robbie is one of the musicians that make up the ‘Loop Collective’ and his own band, Dog Soup, has received much critical acclaim from press and audiences alike. Robbie has been a Professor on the teaching staff at the Guildhall School of Music for the past 8 years.

Phil Cosby Acoustic 4.30pm

Based in the UK but raised on a farm in Wicklow, Ireland, Phil Cosby’s songwriting has led him to work with an array of world-class musicians. Having teamed up with studio legend Phill Brown (The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix), and acclaimed drummer/producer Malcolm Catto (DJ Shadow, Madlib), 2020 saw the release of Blue Daze, Cosby's most exciting project to date. Markus & Tessa Art Exhibition Fundraiser Party 6.00pm

All icons in this 10-day art show will be less than half price! ONLY £100! Catch them while you can! This is a fundraiser to help cover a period of 4 to 6 months, where Markus Thonett will be out of action due to an operation to remove a cancer from his abdominal region in late April or early May. There will be a raffle at the party with great prizes, including works of art and 4 hours of 1-to-1 professional business coaching for artists. We also have a GoFundMe.
