Internationally Renowned Irish jazz guitarist Hugh Buckley and London based rising up and comer Tom Remon join forces to embark on a run of gigs across the UK and Ireland playing a range of repertoire from original compositions and jazz standards Hugh Buckley is a Dublin born and based, self-taught guitarist, composer, arranger, educator and author. He has performed throughout Europe, the USA, Argentina and China, working as a sideman and also leading his own groups. He has performed with a wide array of internationally acclaimed artists including: James Williams, Peter Bernstein, Sheryl Bailey, Jim Mullen, John Stowell, Georgie Fame, Guy Barker, Lisa Stansfield, Ronnie Drew and Van Morrison. Tom Remon is a guitarist from London England who has started out in the artist development organisation Tomorrows Warriors, Tom then went on to record his debut album with Jazz Guitar legend Jim Mullen and has performed with some of the leading names in UK jazz including David Lyttle, Soweto Kinch, Neil Yates, Benet McLean, Steve Williamson, and American Jazz guitarists Sid Jacobs and John Stowell. Terry Pack is a session musician and composer with nearly 50 years of professional playing experience ; Rob's debut album ’Present Time’ was finished in 2010 features Liane Carroll, Pete Wareham, James McMillan, Terry Pack, Nick Peck and Jim Whyte ; Drummer Nick Smalley is quite possibly a camera shy vampire

Residency - Every 3rd Wednesday at 8.00pm. Music from the Cool Jazz Era, post-bop, latin-swing fusion and original compositions. Lynda Murray – alto and sopranino saxes. During1984 she was in the same cohort as Courtney Pine in a London based community music project called Search and Reflect. Lynda’s quartet with Paul Whitten opened for Courtney Pine at the De La Warr Pavilion November 2005. Paul Whitten – double bass – played for Chet Baker in Paris in the 80’s. He has played with Lynda for more than 20 years. He is also a respectected East Sussex based side-man and plays for many jazz projects coming out of Brighton. Yair Katz – drummer and world music percussion, has played several Womad Festivals. He plays for several Hastings based groups and has been playing with Lynda for 2 years

8th Form – Jazz, Funk, Indie Rock 6.00pm

"8th Form" met in a school choir 2 years ago. Two musically passionate 16 year olds: multi-talented singer, songwriter, guitarist and ukulelist Hayley Adjei and drummer, singer, songwriter Hana Bolton have formed a new band performing originals and much loved jazz, funk and indie rock covers. They formed their band shortly after finishing secondary school this year and this will be their debut performance together. Individually they have preformed frequently, both playing numerous times at De La Warr and concerts in and out of school. They are now looking forward to continuing their musical journey together

Stolen Moments Jazz Piano Trio 8.30pm

A group of three musicians, all very familiar to Barnaby's audiences but never heard before in this combination of a classic Jazz Trio of Piano, Bass and Drums! They play jazz standards & some more rare pieces from the repertoire of artists like Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett and more. Andy Nunn - Piano - has years of professional experience as a musician and composer including recording and writing with artists Jonathan Jeremiah, Goldheart Assembly, Polly Paulusma, Delilah, Kathryn Williams, Joel Edwards, Wrenne, Pete Molinari and Roland Gift and touring internationally with Bluetones, Mark Morriss, Emiliana Torrini and Morcheeba. Andy is also a musical director & writer for musical theatre and dance productions and a multi instrumentalist. As well as being a fine jazz pianist he is also an in-demand educator with experience as a private music tutor and as Head of Music in Ofsted outstanding Primary and Secondary schools in London.
