Roy Hilton Jazz Trio 1.30pm

Roy Hilton studied at Leeds College of Music. During a long career in music he worked in Film,TV , radio and stage productions. Jazz was always his first love and he has played with Art Farmer, Sonny Stitt, Teddy Edwards, Howard Alden, Bobby Shew, and many other visiting American musicians. Yvonne Lloyd worked in West End musicals for many years. She then worked in Germany with the Stutz Bear Cats vocal harmony group before settling into a solo career interpreting the American Songbook. Yvonne has worked with many wonderful musicians including Toots Thielemans. Expect to hear Kern, Gershwin, Porter alongside Thelonious Monk and Dave Frishberg

The Midlife Collective 6.30pm

Lizzy Woolley is a Pelvic Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with 12 years’ experience working in the NHS and private practice. She specialises in women’s health and many her patients are peri or post-menopausal! The kind of conditions she treats varies from bladder and bowels changes including incontinence, prolapses and pain in and around the pelvis. By taking a holistic approach, she can formulate treatment plans and refer onto other clinicians appropriately whether that be for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or nutritional advice. In her talk she will discuss the common conditions that she sees in menopause and how to manage them – including some tips and tricks to prevent common symptoms from happening! It will be a relaxed evening with the opportunity to ask questions about a subject that a lot of people don’t like to talk about!

Residency - Every 3rd Wednesday at 8.00pmMusic from the Cool Jazz Era, post-bop, latin-swing fusion and original compositions. Lynda Murray – alto and sopranino saxes. During1984 she was in the same cohort as Courtney Pine in a London based community music project called Search and Reflect. Lynda’s quartet with Paul Whitten opened for Courtney Pine at the De La Warr Pavilion November 2005. Paul Whitten – double bass – played for Chet Baker in Paris in the 80’s. He has played with Lynda for more than 20 years. He is also a respectected East Sussex bassed side-man and plays for many jazz projects coming out of Brighton. Yair Katz – drummer and world music percussion, has played several Womad Festivals. He plays for several Hastings based groups and has been playing with Lynda for 2 years

Hyphae Collective – Poetry & Music Jam 7.00pm

Hyphae Collective warmly invite poets, musicians and singers to experiment and collaborate with our house band - let's see what magic we can weave together. Bring your instruments and your words; whether they be your own, someone else's or, even better, improvised! The jam is on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm, at Barnaby's Jazz Bar in Hastings. It's free and unticketed (though tips are welcomed). The building is wheelchair accessible, but the toilets are not. This is a queer and trans friendly event - everyone is welcome. Erin Colley 7.00pm

Erin Colley - singer songwriter will be releasing her debut EP early July. She has already released her debut single, Rain Clouds. Erin is from the Hastings area, performing at festivals, pub gigs and concerts, with a mix of originals and crowd-pleasing covers "She has an extraordinary gift of singing as everyone wishes they could express themselves with ruthless honesty, fearlessly exploring every emotion with her incredible voice. Rebecca Mason Jazz Trio 8.30pm

Rebecca Mason has been singing for over 30 years, as lead vocalist for the Pete Burden Jazz Organisation amongst other jazz combos. She is a dynamic jazz vocalist known for her soulful tone and modern take on classic standards. Drawing inspiration from legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker and Astrid Gilberto, she blends traditional jazz with contemporary influences to create a sound that is both timeless and modern John Harriman’s diverse music career goes from being a star youth choral singer and soloist with the Royal Opera to playing jazz in California bars and bands. He's now an in demand Jazz Pianist and creator of award winning Afro-cuban Jazz quintet Heads South. “Impeccable Musicianship” -The Times Kevin Francis on bass. He's played with a plethora of professional bands, gigs, tours and recording sessions since 1971. Part of the Ritz Hotel House Band among other accolades.

The Velvet Rays 8.00pm

Louise Driscoll has recently re-launched her band The Velvet Rays, a dynamic 3 piece playing original melodic & sometimes haunting indie style pop. Louise is a singer songwriter with a distinct & soaring voice, she plays both Acoustic & electric guitars with interesting effects that enhance her songs. The band also play a select few popular cover song interpretations. On Bass is Ben Sumner who has performed with Oli Spleen and the Smithmancers and The Holloway Jug Band, and has performed in various punk & Americana bands across London. Paul Moon the drummer was most recently a member of local high energy folk band Fire in The Meadow and has played with Jason McNiff, a local Folk/Americana & Country artist, and Deep Ease, an acoustic blues / pop trio. Prior to moving to Hastings he was playing & recording in London. The Velvet Rays are based in Hastings. They will be recording during 2025

Bjorn Dahlberg Bluesy Jazz 1.30pm

Swedish musician/composer/educator/actor Bjorn Dahlberg is a founding member of several bands : the swing band 'My Friend Lester Quartet' ; 'Nybakat!', a Swedish/Israeli modern jazz quartet he's toured Sweden, UK and Israel and recorded 2 albums with. He was also a founding member of world music group Lele Lele, recorded the first album with them and toured Sweden and Bulgaria. In Bjorn's own words : "I am also a member of the swing bands Harry’s Tricks and The Magic Number, London based function band Bloomfield Avenue, the improvisational group The Adventurists and psycho rock band MynieMoe. You might also occasionally see me swing my horns with Flash Mob Jazz and the Swing Ninjas. Since 2002 I have been working with The Show – A Tribute to ABBA (formerly ABBA the Show), first as saxophonist/2nd keyboard but since 2008 I have played the part of Benny Andersson, playing 1st keyboard/piano and singing. The show has toured all over the world. Some notable gigs are at the Hollywood Bowl, The Royal Albert Hall, O2 Arena Hamburg, Sao Paolo city festival to 80.000 people. Accompanied by local, bluesy guitar star Matt Jackson, this will be another  fab Sunday lunchtime gig
