An evening of live jazz, intimate musicianship and the unmistakable energy of a piano trio.

We’re delighted to welcome Hogarth Hannam Piano Trio to Barnaby’s Lounge for a special night of live jazz. At the centre of the trio is Hogarth Hannam, a versatile musician, pianist, drummer and composer with a strong interest in creativity, rhythm and experimentation. His work spans a range of musical projects, including The Village Metronome, a collaborative project exploring contemporary and experimental sounds. Hogarth’s musical journey is driven by curiosity and a love of creating music that feels alive in the moment. His work with The Village Metronome can be heard on their album Disco Vision, offering a glimpse into the wider musical world he brings to his performances.

For this Barnaby’s Lounge performance, Hogarth takes his place at the piano alongside two exceptional musicians:

Together, piano, bass and drums create one of jazz’s most expressive and dynamic combinations — allowing space for interplay, rhythm, spontaneity and musical conversation between the three players.

Expect an intimate live jazz experience in the heart of Hastings, surrounded by the warm atmosphere of Barnaby’s Lounge. Whether you’re already a jazz enthusiast or simply looking for something different to do on a Friday night, this is an opportunity to discover three musicians bringing their own energy and musicianship to the room.
