Susie Warren’s Collage & Writing Workshop | Creative Workshops in Hastings
Monday 23 November 2026 | 3.00pm
Not every story needs to begin with words. At Barnaby’s Lounge, artist Susie Warren invites you to explore the possibilities of collage and montage, transforming found materials into unexpected images, fresh ideas and entirely new stories.
Each relaxed workshop takes a different theme as its starting point, encouraging participants to experiment with creative techniques and discover new ways of combining images, textures and words. Create your own artwork, put together a one-of-a-kind card or take your collage in a different direction through guided creative writing.
Whether you already enjoy making art or simply fancy trying something new, the session welcomes beginners and more experienced creatives alike. All materials are provided, although you’re welcome to bring along your own. There’s no need to book ahead—just come along and give your imagination room to wander.
Spend a creative afternoon exploring visual storytelling, sharing ideas and seeing familiar materials in a different light at Barnaby’s Lounge, a welcoming arts and live music venue in the heart of Hastings.
