Stormy T & Bluesman’s Lane ~ 9.30pm

They’re a four-piece Hastings blues band, formed in 2018, specialising in traditional jump and swing blues, retro R&B and classic blues, covering material from the 1930s through to the present alongside their own songs. They’ve also released an album of original material, Drinkin’ & Swingin’. (hastingssussex.uk) Frontman Trevor White, aka Stormy-T, is a lifelong Hastings musician, guitarist, singer and blues enthusiast. He also presents The Stormy-T Blues Show on Hastings Rock Radio. Hastings Rock says the band regularly performs at pubs, clubs and festivals around the country. They also run the long-established weekly Hastings Blues Club at Pissarro’s, where visiting musicians are invited to get on stage and play. Their repertoire draws on artists including B.B. Performances

One particularly useful credential I found is their appearance at the Hastings Seafood & Wine Festival, where the official programme billed them as an accomplished blues band playing R&B, swing, blues and funk. (visit1066country.com)

They are also established regulars on the Hastings/Bexhill circuit, including Pissarro’s, The Custom Café, The Compass and The Jenny Lind, alongside festival appearances. Their next Jenny Lind appearance is currently listed for 31 August 2026. (hastingssussex.uk)

And interestingly, they’ve played Barnaby’s before. I found a listing for their Barnaby’s Lounge show on 11 October 2025, described as an evening of laid-back blues grooves. (hastingssussex.uk)

For your 10 October Barnaby’s event, I’d promote them less as simply a “local blues band” and more as one of Hastings’ established blues outfits, festival performers and custodians of the town’s weekly blues-club tradition. That gives the booking considerably more weight.
