Rory Ingham’s Trombone Assembly brings a rare five-trombone frontline to Hastings Jazz Festival for a special album-launch performance. This all-star project features two of the UK’s most celebrated trombonists:
Dennis Rollins, a multi-award-winning UK jazz-funk icon, known for his work with Jamiroquai, Courtney Pine, Brand New Heavies, Maceo Parker and his acclaimed projects Badbone & Co and Velocity Trio.
Trevor Mires, long-time arranger and trombonist for Sir Tom Jones, and a touring/recording musician with Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Mark Ronson and Incognito.
They’re joined by rising star Daniel Higham (Robbie Williams) alongside bandleader Rory Ingham, British Jazz Awards Rising Star.
Following sell-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s, Trombone Assembly will be premiering new music from their forthcoming album.
