Greg Heath Jazz | Sunday Jazz Lunch at Barnaby’s Lounge

Sunday 6 December | 1.30pm
A distinguished jazz musician with an international career, Greg Heath brings decades of experience and a remarkable musical pedigree to Barnaby’s Lounge for a special Sunday Jazz Lunch.
Originally from New Zealand, Greg studied at the NSW Conservatorium in Sydney under celebrated musicians James Morrison and Don Burrows. Since settling in the UK in 1989, he has established himself as a highly respected saxophonist, touring and recording with an impressive range of artists across jazz, soul and popular music.
His musical credits include performances and recordings with Van Morrison, Dr John, Roy Ayers, Joan Armatrading, Omar and Terence Trent D’Arby, alongside leading British jazz musicians Jim Mullen and John Etheridge.
As a composer and bandleader, Greg has also released his own work, including the 2009 album Fact & Fiction, which received a recommendation from Jazz UK. His playing combines the depth and intensity of the jazz tradition with a distinctive musical voice of his own.
Join us for an afternoon of exceptional live jazz, rich musical expression and the intimate atmosphere that makes Barnaby’s such a special place to listen.
