Tupenny Opera are Dave Weir, Maya Sapir and Thomas Jonneskindt.

Their passionate vocals and soaring guitars, intricately woven with explosive bass and drums, have surprised and delighted audiences from Australia to Europe, in the Middle East and America. They write and perform darkly poetic, highly inventive pop, tinged with prog rock and psychedelic influences. From the romantic to the political they cover gamut of human experiences with dramatic flair.
